Thoughts on a Trial and a Snowstorm

It’s always the lifted pickups in the ditch
the day after a good snow. Silly,
this
isn’t the type of whiteness that makes you
invincible.

When I dig my way out of my house,
this whiteness is heavy, but for me, how
is this different
from any other day, dealing with the
avalanche of your
privilege?
